International Journal of Research in Political Science and Public Administration (IJRPSPA)
P-ISSN: 3117-5902 | E-ISSN: 3117-5910
The International Journal of Research in Political Science and Public Administration (IJRPSPA) is committed to maintaining high standards of academic quality and research integrity through a rigorous peer review process. The journal follows internationally recognized scholarly publishing practices to ensure that all published research meets the highest standards of originality, relevance, and academic contribution.
IJRPSPA adopts a Double-Blind Peer Review system, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process. This system ensures an unbiased and objective evaluation of manuscripts based solely on their academic merit.
Under the double-blind peer review model:
• The identities of authors are concealed from reviewers
• The identities of reviewers are concealed from authors
This review model helps maintain fairness and prevents bias related to the author’s institution, nationality, academic reputation, gender, or personal background.
Peer review is an essential component of scholarly publishing and serves to:
• Ensure the quality and credibility of research
• Improve the clarity and academic validity of manuscripts
• Maintain the integrity of the scholarly record
All manuscripts submitted to IJRPSPA undergo a structured editorial and peer review process consisting of the following stages:
Upon submission, manuscripts are first evaluated by the Editorial Office and Editor-in-Chief to determine whether they:
• Fall within the scope of the journal
• Meet the basic quality and formatting standards
• Comply with the journal’s ethical policies
• Pass plagiarism screening
Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors or rejected without external review.
All manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection software to ensure the originality of the submitted work.
Manuscripts with unacceptable levels of similarity or evidence of plagiarism will be rejected according to the journal’s Plagiarism Policy.
Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial assessment are sent for independent peer review by at least two qualified experts in the relevant field of research.
Reviewers are selected based on their academic expertise, research experience, and familiarity with the subject area of the manuscript.
In some cases, the Editor-in-Chief may request additional reviewers if further evaluation is required.
Reviewers evaluate submitted manuscripts based on several criteria, including:
• Originality and novelty of the research
• Academic and methodological quality
• Analytical rigor and validity
• Relevance to the journal’s scope
• Clarity of presentation and structure
• Significance and contribution to political science and public administration
Reviewers provide detailed feedback and recommendations to assist the editorial board in making publication decisions.
Based on the reviewers’ reports and editorial evaluation, the Editor-in-Chief or Editorial Board will make one of the following decisions:
• Accept the manuscript
• Accept with minor revisions
• Request major revisions and resubmission
• Reject the manuscript
The final decision regarding publication rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
The journal aims to complete the peer review process within approximately 1 to 3 weeks from the date of submission. However, the exact review time may vary depending on the availability of reviewers and the complexity of the manuscript.
All manuscripts submitted to IJRPSPA are treated as confidential documents. Editors and reviewers must not disclose any information regarding a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, editorial advisors, or the publisher as appropriate.
Reviewers must not use any unpublished information from the manuscript for personal research purposes.
The editorial team of IJRPSPA follows internationally recognized ethical guidelines in scholarly publishing. If any form of plagiarism, duplicate submission, data fabrication, or ethical misconduct is suspected during the review process, the manuscript will be investigated in accordance with the journal’s Publication Ethics and Plagiarism Policies.
Appropriate actions may include rejection, correction, or retraction of the article, depending on the severity of the issue.
Through its peer review process, the International Journal of Research in Political Science and Public Administration (IJRPSPA) aims to ensure the publication of high-quality, original, and impactful research in the fields of political science, governance, public administration, and related disciplines.
The journal remains committed to transparency, fairness, and academic integrity in all stages of the editorial and peer review process.
